Ennoble Africa Foundation (EAF) in partnership with Samaritan Purse – Operation Christmas Child reached out to over 120 kids in three orphanages in Accra in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
The event dubbed “Leading a Child to Christ for a Better Tomorrow” is meant to touch lives and lead the little ones to Christ through gifts. It was also to incorporate the habit of sharing, giving and the love of God in these little ones at a tender age so they may grow with it. That way we believe the world will be a much better and lovely place where people care for each other.
Each of the kids received a huge gift box filled with interesting and exciting stuffs like books, pencils, pens, clothes, shoes, toys and many more. In addition to the gift boxes was a booklet titled “The Greatest Gift” for each of the kids. The team also shared the story of creation and how Jesus Christ was the greatest gift ever given to mankind through his death for our sins.
Further, the kids were taken through some 12 Bible lessons dubbed “The Greatest Journey” which lasted for weeks. These kids are now vested with the word of God and upon becoming disciples of Jesus, are more willing to share the word with their peers and win more souls for Christ.
The activities were climaxed with a graduation ceremony to reward all the children that took part in the Bible lessons and successfully completing the journey to Christ. Over 90 kids were rewarded with certificates and new Bibles. It was a period of gifting and love which has drawn these children much closer to Christ.
It is so refreshing and exciting to know that the future for these kids is bright and promising as they promise to keep trusting and believing in God.
