Our Aim & Objectives
Our Strategic Goals
Women/Girls, Children and Youth Rights
EAF believes that eliminating all forms of discrimination, violence and abuses against women/girls, children and the youth promote fundamental human rights. Gender equality and human rights in general must be a priority of every state institution and government. Therefore, we exist to empower women/girls and the youth to safeguard their human rights and fight for gender equality with an inclusive approach.
Youth Advocacy
EAF offers strategic communication trainings, skills and tools for advocates, community groups, the youth and rural folks to give access to information that promotes the resolutions of issues that affect youths negatively.
Mentorship and Empowerment
It is important for the youth to be mentored and directed towards the ethical paths for nation building. It is also important for women and girls to be empowered to make choices and decisions about their lives, bodies and sexualities.
Women and Girls in Leadership
EAF promotes and advocates for women and girls to actively participate in decision-making and politics in their communities and wherever they find themselves.
Reduce Hunger and Poverty
There are various aspects of poverty that could be tackled to help reduce hunger and the breakdown of a nation’s economy. The reduction of social poverty, like the lack of access to infrastructures (schools, hospitals, market place and other social amenities), lack of information including ICT, good drinking water, employment and other social needs all play a role in systemic poverty. EAF aims to promote, empower and advocate for social changes towards the reduction of social poverty and poverty in general.
